ASTM is a Swiss SME founded in 2014 and active in the transportation sector, supplying services of electrical and electromechanical simulation, performing site tests and measurements for electromagnetic compatibility, power quality, electrical safety, earthing and stray current phenomena and in general consultancy for design, verification and validation of transportation systems.
ASTM services for its clients span analysis, simulation and test&measurement: covered fields are those of electromagnetic compatibility for systems and vehicles, earthing & bonding, stray current protection and lightning protection design, assessment and testing.
Design and production of measurement products help to better understand on-site exigencies and problems and to effectively prepare and perform site activities: products range from current and magnetic field probes to signal conditioning modules and robust autonomous acquisition systems.
ASTM puts R&D in the center of the four fields of activity, speaking to clients and stakeholders, actively participating to conferences, and publishing and reviewing scientific papers.
Personnel has acquired experience through several years of activity, doing research and teaching at university and consulting for major projects, such as Dubai Metro and Expolink 2020, Doha Metro, Lusail LRT, Copenhagen Metro.
